 What types of presentations do you give?

• I can design an educational and insightful presentation from the basic luncheon speech to the all-day seminar on the topic areas of my expertise. You tell me what you need and I’ll tell you what I can do.  

What led you to pursue the areas you feature?

• For negotiations and supply and demand chain management it was my years as a journalist covering negotiations and supply and demand chain management for The National Association of Purchasing Management, now known as the Institute for Supply Management. You can check them out at www.ism.ws.

•  My topic of diplomacy comes from the reporting in negotiations but also my own application to the principals of diplomacy as editor-in-chief for a national magazine known as Supply & Demand Chain Executive (originally known as iSource). In my leadership role I had to make application of diplomacy strategies because in the magazine publishing environment you lean heavily on the teaming environment and consensus and support from others that you don’t necessarily have authority over.

•  My wardrobe presentations come from my years working as a volunteer for the National Cotton Women’s Committee, a grass-roots organization that promotes the use of cotton. I grew up on an Arizona farm and my parents were cotton producers. So it was a natural (no pun intended) outlet for me to promote natural fibers such as cotton.
